PoolKeeper support

PoolKeeper is built and supported by its developer, Pratik Poddar. Email pratik.phodu@gmail.com and you'll get a reply from a person, usually within one business day (IST, UTC+5:30).

Please include your store's .myshopify.com address and, if it's about a specific pool, the pool's name.

Common questions

What does PoolKeeper do?

It lets several variants or products share one stock count. Sell a 6-pack and a single from the same shelf, or 250 g, 500 g and 1 kg bags from one bulk bin, and every listing shows exactly what can still ship.

How do multipliers work?

A multiplier is how many pool units one sale uses: 6 for a 6-pack, 0.5 for a 500 g bag when the pool is counted in kg. A listing shows the pool quantity, less any buffer, divided by its multiplier and rounded down.

Why can't I add a variant to a pool?

The variant must track inventory and be stocked at the pool's location, and a variant can belong to only one pool. Add it to the location in Shopify, then try again.

How fast does it sync?

Usually within seconds of a sale, restock or edit. An hourly reconcile also catches anything a webhook missed. Every change is listed in the pool's Activity log.

What happens if I uninstall?

Syncing stops and every listing keeps its current Shopify stock. If you reinstall within 48 hours, your pools resume on their own: PoolKeeper re-reads each listing's stock, counts any sales made in between, then syncs again (pools you paused yourself stay paused). Otherwise your pool data is deleted when Shopify sends the shop redaction request, 48 hours after uninstall.
